Obituary for Janina Marcinkowski (Zygmunt)
MARCINKOWSKI, Janina (nee Zygmunt) -
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington on Sunday July 2, 2017 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her loving husband Jan Marcinkowski (2012). Cherished mother of Lucy Janicki and devoted grandmother of Cathy Janicki (Michael Tiller). She will be fondly remembered by her nephews George, Henry and Marian and all of their families. Janina will also be missed by her extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Monday July 10, 2017 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church (196 Kenwood Avenue, Burlington), on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 10:30am. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, donations in Janina’s memory to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
