Condolences

Condolence From: Lynne Cocklin
Condolence: I don't know where to start because I don't want to believe that Sandy is not here for me to call. We sat elbow to elbow for years while working for the Board. We shared stories involving our friends and families and the situations of that time. I felt like I knew her grand sons, dad, brother-in-law and nephew when I hadn't actually met them. She was a sweet person and will leave a great void in our lives. I will miss her terribly.

Condolence From: Marian Flynn
Condolence: I met Sandy at the Halton Board. When we passed in the halls she would share updates on her family, especially her grandchildren. She continued the updates whenever we connected after her retirement.
My thoughts and prayers are with her and your family.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of knowing Sandy for so many years through the HDSB. She was always so nice to sit and have a chat with. She was always so funny and sweet. My condolences to Michal and the rest of her family. She was a wonderful lady and I will miss her.

Condolence: My sincere condolences to Sandy's girls and her family. She was so very proud of them.

I met Sandy through the Halton School board and we became good friends. I miss our lunches. She had such a wonderful smile, sense of humour and bubbly personality. She and I were diagnosed with breast cancer at the same time and she was a source of strength for me.

Since retiring we had not been in touch, I am so saddened that she became ill again. Rest in Peace Sandy.

Condolence: My heartfelt condolences go out to Sandy’s family at this very sad time.

I was extremely fortunate to become friends with Sandy when we both worked together at the Halton DSB. Sandy was a beautiful person inside and out. Her wonderful laugh and beautiful smile would bring joy to anyone in her company. Sandy was always thinking of others, but she herself was a private person. She loved her family deeply and was extremely proud of her grandsons!

Sandy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. I will always cherish our friendship.

Condolence: Sandy and I had many laughs as we worked together at HDSB. Even after my retirement and move to Nova Scotia, we kept in touch regularly with long phone conversations. We both experienced breast cancer and we're great support for each other.
I was concerned since recent phone calls and emails had not been returned. However, it was such a shock to learn that my dear friend had passed away.
I will always remember her laugh and am so glad that we got together for lunch when I was in Ontario last September.
Sincere condolences to you all.
Gail

Condolence: My deepest condolences to your family. Sandy always talked about her daughters and grandchildren with such great love. She was one of the first to always talk to me at HDSB and help me along. Such a sweet lady.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of the family's loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies. I hoped that sharing the following Bible verse might bring some comfort at this most difficult time. “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” - John 5:28, 29 The website Jw.org offers more information on this wonderful hope.
