Passed away peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, with her family at her side. Loving mother of daughters Mical Salovaara (Matthew Smith) and Shae Hallman (Derek). Proud and cherished grandmother of Grant and Kirk Hallman, and many animals. Dear sister of Debbie Wallace Boaz (Tom). Sandy will be greatly missed by her family, many friends and neighbours. She was a long time employee of the Halton District School Board, and devoted fan of her family's sporting events and creative pursuits. Heartfelt thanks go to Dr Swan, Dr Eriksson, Juravinski Hospital and Carpenter Hospice for the care and comfort they provided to Sandy and her family.

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 4-7 pm. A Service to celebrate Sandy's life will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 10:30 am. Reception to follow.
