Passed away peacefully at Sheridan Villa Long Term Care, Mississauga, at the age of 86. Devoted husband of the late Marion (nee King). Loving father of Judy Collinson (Deane), Fraser, Jack (Suzie) and Jamie. Proud grandfather of Laura, Brian, David and Joshua. Predeceased by sister Joan Beaulieu and brother Jack. Don was the founder and president of Bay City Construction and a long-time member of the Rotary Club. He was well-known and respected as both a successful businessman and generous contributor to the Burlington community. He loved golf, music, political commentary and taking long walks with his dog, but his greatest pleasure was spending time with his family and close friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW) Burlington (905-632-3333) on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception and lunch, also at the funeral home.
