Passed away peacefully with family by his side at The Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, on Tuesday, May 9 ,2017 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Elisabeth (nee Mueller) and cherished father of Christine Brown and Monica Proulx (Serge). Proud grandfather of Sarah Brown, Derek Proulx and André Proulx. Gerry will also be missed by extended family and numerous friends. Special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Joseph Brant Hospital and The Carpenter Hospice for the excellent care provided. A Funeral Service will be held at Pineland Baptist Church (5100 New Street, Burlington), on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 11:00am with a reception to follow in the church hall. Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery following the reception. If desired, donations in Gerry’s memory to Pineland Baptist Church (Elevator Fund) or The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated.
