Condolence From: Connie and Richard Pope & Family (Winnipeg)
Condolence: Trish, Morgen, Brenden and Family

We were saddened to hear of Roger's passing.

Richard and I still fondly remember the Toast to the Bride speech he graciously gave at our wedding in May thirty-four years ago.

We know your loving memories of Roger, his love of life and his laughter will offer comfort to you.

"I did my best, it is time to rest."

Condolence: Dear Trish, Morgen an Brenden

We are so sorry for your loss. Please know you are all in our thoughts and we pray for you that your pain will ease. Rodger was a wonderful sole. We were honoured to be his friends and neighbours over the last 23 years. We will truly miss our daily waves at each other while passing by on Heidi Avenue and blowing that snow together in our driveways, always with a smile on our face. We will miss all our little chats we have had over the years, and miss his warm ways and smiling face. Remember this: "Death is not extinguishing the light, But rather turning out the lamp, because the dawn has come" God bless you all and please know we are only a door step away. Rodger will forever be in our memories and thoughts.

Condolence: I hadn't seen Roger since our days together at the Tiger-Cats. It speaks volumes about him that 20 some odd years later when told of this news there was the predictable reaction of sadness followed by the completely unpredictable memories of him that were triggered that just made me smile ear to ear. How valuable that is. He was just that kind of a memorable person, to make you smile twenty years later. Sincere condolences.
