Ronald Basel Gowans
Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Constance Margaret (nee Lowrie) for 63 years. Loving father to Ronnie (Sylvia Cygnaek), Avril and Larry Sullivan, David (Margaret McAvoy) and Stanley (predeceased 2003). Proud grandfather to Joe, Nicole (Dan) Sullivan-Keleman, Nevan Sullivan and fiancé Melissa Beatty, Morgan and Jarrett. Survived by his sisters Betty Late Joe) Ross and Doreen (Bill) Toland. Predeceased by brothers Malcom and Dennis. Loyal employee as Electrical Engineer of Westinghouse Canada.

Visitation at Smiths Funeral Home 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW) Burlington (905) 632-3333 on Wednesday, May 10th from 09:30-10:30 AM. Celebration of Life Service to be held in the chapel at Smiths on Wednesday, May 10th, 2017 at 10:30 AM with gathering of family and friends at the Navy Club 2444 Industrial St, Burlington, Ontario (905) 336-3326.
