It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Fernand Jean (John) Cloutier announces his unexpected passing at his home on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the age of 61. He will be sadly missed by Vera Zlataric, his wife of 28 years and his beloved daughter Rachel Cloutier. John Cloutier was born in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. He was the third child, and the first son, of Normand and Pauline Cloutier. Dear brother of Louise Corral (Charlie Corral), Francine Tibbles (Dave Tibbles) and Diane Cloutier. Predeceased by his sister Denise Martin. He will be fondly remembered by his two nieces, eight nephews and friends. John retired as an HVAC Mechanic. He was an avid cycler and enjoyed boating. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 2016 Blairholm (at Brant Street) on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Private Cremation. If desired, donations to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation and Juravinski Hospital would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
