Passed away peacefully at Blue Water Health Hospital, Sarnia on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Kalman. Loved mother of Eve Moore (David), Peter (Catherine), Adrian (Terry) and Alex (Roni). Cherished grandmother of Eva Marie, Snowden (Michael), Stefan and Nicholas. Great-grandmother of Charlotte. Loved sister of Ilona Bevis (Karoly) and Margaret Cizmadia (the late Andras). Predeceased by her siblings Vera (Istvan), Elizabeth (Sandor) and Janos. Missed also by many nieces and nephews. Marie was known for always having a smile on her face, even during tough times. She loved her family, socializing with friends, gardening, cooking and baking. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
