Ellis, Kenneth Joseph
Peacefully passed away at Pearl and Pine Retirement Residence, Burlington, on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the age of 87. Ken is predeceased by his wife Rheta (1998), and siblings Bryan, Violet, David and Marie. Ken will be dearly missed by his surviving siblings Janette (late Arthur), Willard (late Jean) and John (late Jean), and his friends at Pearl and Pine. He was the proud father of Susan Forsyth (Ian), Margaret Haws (Trevor), and Jim (Nancy), and cherished grandfather of Andrew, Kenneth, Kevin, Emily, Michael, Shawn and Kathryn. A Service of Remembrance will take place at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting for those who wish, donations in memory of Ken to the OSPCA (http://ontariospca.ca/) or the Ontario Lung Association (https://www.on.lung.ca/donatenow) would be sincerely appreciated.
