Obituary for Sharon Willcock-Augustine

Sharon Willcock-Augustine
Sharon Elizabeth Willcock-Augustine
Sharon was born in Bradford, England on the 13th September, 1960 to her proud parents Delia and Emanuel who were originally from Dominica, WI.
She enjoyed the love of siblings Marcella, Judith, Roy, Rosslyn and Christian. Sharon would always be on hand for babysitting her younger siblings with her already well-honed style of order and discipline.
Sharon left home at 16 to live in London. After graduating with an Associate’s Degree and Specialized Certificate in Early Childcare and development and coupled with her enormous sense of adventure for always seeking the extraordinary, she took the opportunity to move to Canada as a Nanny - starting in Winnipeg and later Toronto. This would be the start of an illustrious career that would see her travel the world including, Paris, France and Gabon, Africa and Florida - looking after the children of Presidents, the nobility and even Mike Batt – writer of many world famous musical theme tunes. She soon became the Nanny to have.
On a visit to England she met the love of her life, Mick, and they married in 1996 and settled in England. Her life was complete when she was blessed with her 3 “beautiful” children, Meshai, Kenan and Jaden.
The whole family moved to Canada in 2006 inspired by Sharon’s earlier stay in the country.
In recent years, Sharon rekindled her love of children and enjoyed many happy times working as an educational assistant always being passionate about helping and encouraging those in her care.
She remained a loving wife and devoted mother who will be missed every single day. She was, as we all know, an amazing woman.
