Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her first husband Ernest J. Brittle (1978) and second husband Cedric Piggot (2015). Loving mother of John Brittle and his wife Mary (nee Maida), the late Ralph Brittle and the late Adrienne Archer. Cherished grandma of Matthew Archer, Sacha Archer (Rui Xin) and Jack Brittle and great grandma of Alexie Archer and Charley Archer. Jane will be fondly remembered by her extended family in Britain. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday from 4-7p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10:30a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
