Obituary for Nellie Stanisz (Pont)
STANISZ, Nellie (nee Pont) -
Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the age of 92. Predeceased by loving husband Ted Stanisz (1974). Cherished mother of Roland Stanisz (Irene), Edward Stanisz (Lynda), and John Stanisz (Sandy), all of Burlington. Proud grandmother of Christopher Stanisz (Madison Voelk), Robert Stanisz, Alyssa Drummond (Greg), Jordan Stanisz, Dan Stanisz (Daniela Parisi Stanisz), and Matt Stanisz. She will also be dearly missed by her surviving siblings in Oakville and Holland, as well as other extended family and friends. As per Nellie’s wishes private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date, and private interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Nellie’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated.
