After a short and courageous battle with cancer, the Lord decided to call our angel home on April 3. Left to mourn the loss of the dearest member of their family, are her husband of 47 years Jim (James), her daughter Andrea and son in-law Chris, and son Trevor. Heartbroken are her grandchildren Kylie, Isabelle, Emily, Adelaide, and William. Also left to mourn are her brother Ross, as well as many in laws, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Janice's life was filled with a genuine love for others. Her kindness touched so many and will not be forgotten.

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Matthew-on-the-Plains Anglican Church, 126 Plains Road East, Burlington, on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Hamilton, followed by reception at the church.
