Condolences

Condolence From: Donna Philbert
Condolence: Dear Bridget and Briana,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you. I did not really know Ernie, but what I saw from the few encounters that I had with him was that he was a warm, helpful and personable man. I will always remember Ernie helping me and my father to clear the driveway and sidewalks after a snowstorm. It is also true that after a snow storm he would sometimes get out before us and surprise us with our driveway and sidewalk already cleared of snow! I know my parents, Mavis and Francis thought very highly of Ernie and appreciated him as our neighbour.
Ernie, may you now rest in peace.

Condolence From: Ken & kay fenwick (cottage neighbours)
Condolence: Our deepest sympathies Bridget. We were at the cottage for Easter and we're asking about you guys, since we hadn't seen you up there yet this year. You guys were always there first. It came as quite a shock to hear of Ernies passing. We will miss our lengthy talks over the fence. I hope his good chum in Wasaga Beach will continue to honk his horn as he passes your place as a standing salute to a great neighbour. Blessings be with you Bridget. If you need anything done up at the cottage do not hesitate to ask. Good night Ernie.

Condolence From: Francis & Mavis Philbert
Condolence: Our deepest condolences to you Bridget and Briana.

We have been privileged to have had Ernie, Bridget and Briana as our next door neighbors for the past many years. Ernie was indeed an exemplary good neighbor and friend. He was a very personable and sociable gentleman who was ever ready to help others. There were many a morning when, as I prepared to go to clear my driveway and sidewalk after a snowstorm, I was pleasantly surprised to find that Ernie had already done it.
I recall, and will miss, our many friendly conversations in our front yards. I will hold as a fond memory, the occasion of drinking a toast in his honor, and sharing his birthday cake, on the evening of his last birthday.
You will be sadly missed my friend. May you rest in peace.
Francis and Mavis Philbert

Condolence: When I saw Ernie just a couple of weeks ago I could see the love he had for life and his family. Ernie sure did give it a good fight. Definitely a first class man. He too gave me encouragement.

Condolence: I am so very sorry for your loss Bridgett and Briana.

Ernie was a stand-up good reliable man. And, he was very knowledgeable on many subjects. I will miss my political debates with him.

Gone too soon.

Drop in any time at all at the cottage. You are always welcome.

Be strong but don't be afraid to ask for anything.

God bless Ernie.
