Obituary for Peggy Sturgeon

Peggy Sturgeon
Sturgeon, Peggy

Unexpectedly at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Monday, April 3, 2017, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Gordon (2012). Loving mother of Jane Jenner (Ed), Andrew (Irene) and Ruth Rodgers (Frank). Cherished grandmother of Emily (Todd), Jessica (Sean), Kate (Paul), Adam (Chloe), Jeffrey (Teri), Ellen (John), Christopher, Paul (Courtney), Laura (Greg) and Johnny (Jesse) and 19 great-grandchildren. Peggy lived a long and wonderful life. As well as being a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she was a caring and helpful friend to her fellow residents at both Heritage Place and Burlington Gardens retirement communities. She had many talents and interests, and a great sense of humour. She was a great story teller, and loved to tell a good joke. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Peggy's life will be held at Heritage Place Retirement Residence, 4151 Kilmer Drive, Burlington, on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Burlington Humane Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family. (Arrangements entrusted to SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON 905-632-3333.)
