Lois Elizabeth Quinn
Lois passed away peacefully with family by her side at The Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, ON, Saturday April 1, 2017 at the age of 80. Lois leaves behind her loving partner of 22 years Peter Armstrong, her adoring children Robert (Jeannine) Vasily, Susan Vasily, Daniel (Jennifer) Vasily and Judy (Bernard) Vasily, her stepdaughters Lesslie, Susan, and Terry, Peter’s daughter Valli and son Stephen, her grandsons Aaron (Genevieve), Marc (Meaghan) and Corbyn Vasily, her granddaughter Linnea Tobin, and her recent great grandson Mac Vasily. Lois is survived by her dear siblings Gordon (Beverly) Brown, Susan (Vincent) Callaghan, Linda (Thomas) Robson, and Mary Elliot. Lois is predeceased by her parents Muriel and Douglas Brown, sister Ann Nethery, and brother David Brown. The family wish to thank the tremendous staff at the Joseph Brant Hospital’s Cancer Clinic, the CCAC, and the generous and kind volunteers and staff of Carpenter Hospice.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 3-5 pm. For those who wish, donations in memory of Lois to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
