With heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of our dear father Fred Stremble on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Born in Hamilton on June 18, 1931 and predeceased by his loving wife Irene (2006). Fred was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He is survived by his dear children Elaine (Doug) Reece, the late Diane Stremble (2016) and Fred (Joanne) Stremble and cherished grandfather to Melissa (Jason), Melanie (Steve), John and Laura. He was a much loved great grandfather to Taylor and Lauren. Fred is survived by his sisters Isabel (Morris) Bohaychuk and Marie Knowles, and predeceased by Helen (Don) Plouffe and will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Fred was a member of the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve from 1948 until 1953. He was a valued employee of the American Can Company and then continued his career in real estate sales. We would like to express our sincerest thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Firestone Clinic at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton. We would also like to give a very special thank you to Dr. Ann Woods and her team for their compassion throughout his stay.
