Obituary for L. Paul Hinton
Passed away surrounded by family, at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Imelda for 62 years. Loving father of Christopher (Kathy), Robert (Janice), David (Donna), Anne-Marie (Stephen), and Mary-Catherine (Frank). Proud grandfather of Genevieve, Nicole, Thomas, Patrick, Paul, Therese, Joseph, Michael, Jaclyn (Giancarlo), Ryan, Brandon, Katelyn, Julia, Matthew, Jennifer, Aaron, and Nicholas. Great-grandfather of Giordana, Stefania, Melissa, Giancarlo junior, Connor, Keagan, Noah, Parker and Jack. Dear brother of Frances and Margaret. Paul was a long time real estate broker in Oakville, Burlington and Mississauga. In retirement worked for Avis Rent-a-car. Long time member of the Oakville Barbershop Chorus, 4th degree Knight of Pope John Paul Assembly in Burlington. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6-9 pm. Vigil prayers 8:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. For those who wish memorial donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
