Obituary for Mark Leva

Mark Leva
Leva, Mark
October 8, 1974 – February 20, 2017
After a courageous battle with cancer, Mark was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the age of 42. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Soth) and proud father of Sophia. Cherished son of Leonardo and Maria Leva. Much loved brother of Frank Leva (Margherita), David Leva (Antonella) and Jonathan Leva (Mirjam). Adored uncle to: Austin (son of Frank and Marg), Adam, Leo, and Michael (sons of David and Antonella), Alexis and Evan (daughter and son of Mark and Kim). Mark will also be dearly missed by Laura’s family; parents Randy and Betty Soth, brother-in-law Mark Soth (Kimberley), as well as his extended family, numerous friends and many work colleagues. Mark is loved deeply and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, February 23, 2016 from 5-8 pm. A Celebration of Mark's life will be held at Compass Point Bible Church (1500 Kerns Road, Burlington), on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 1:00pm, with a reception to follow. Private family interment will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations in Mark’s memory to The Mennonite Central Committee would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
