Obituary for Janet Bradley (Hunt)

Bradley, Janet

Peacefully, at The Brant Centre, Burlington, on February 21, at the age of 66 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia. Loving mother of the late Alison Bradley (2011). Cherished daughter of Mary Hunt (the late Kenneth). Dear sister of Richard Hunt (Jolene). Janet will be fondly remembered by Terry Bradley (Marianne Corradetti). Jan graduated in 1972 from McMaster University majoring in Sociology with minors in Mathematics and Music. Her favourite part-time job during those years was teaching classical guitar. She was passionate about learning and shared her enthusiasm with those around her. She loved to travel with her daughter Alison, and, as an avid bridge player, was an active member in the Hamilton/Burlington bridge community until the Parkinson’s began to take its toll. To celebrate Janet's life, a Service of Remembrance will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, March 4 at 1:00 PM. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Special thanks to Dr. Singh for his compassion and guidance through the difficult last few days. Suzana Panek and her wonderful staff at Best Care Agency provided Jan with companionship and genuine caring which were a huge enhancement to Jan’s quality of life. They were like Jan’s extended family for the past 3 years. For those who wish, donations in memory of Jan to Danielle's Place or the Parkinson’s Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
