Obituary for Gertrude "Gertie" Wagenaar
Passed away at the United Mennonite Home, on Monday, February 13, 2017, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of 71 years to Arthur. Loved mother of Joe Wagenaar (Dian), Ron Wagenaar (Jenny), Ann Wielink (Keith) and Fred Wagenaar (Kathy). Cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by many extended family members and friends. The service for Gertie will take place at Fruitland Christian Reformed Church, 805 Highway #8, Stoney Creek, on Friday, February 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. Private family interment at Mountview Gardens prior to the service. If desired, memorial contributions to World Renew or Bible League Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
