Passed away at The Carpenter Hospice on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the age of 76. Predeceased by her loving husband, John (2013). Dear mother to Michael of Aurora, and Matthew (Jodi Winter) of Burlington. Cherished grandmother to Tim, Melanie, Jack, and Sam. Sister Ritva Lehtonen and all of the extended family in Turku, Finland send their best. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 16 at 10:30 a.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to The Carpenter Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
