It is with heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Giuseppe at the Juravinski Hospital on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the age of 82. Loved husband of Maureen for 56 years. Loved father of Peter (Vicky), Joe (Brenda) and Paola Piccioni (Lorenzo). Cherished Nonno of Britney, Jenna, Joseph, Riley and Jesse. Missed also by his extended family in Canada and Italy. Giuseppe was a long standing member of the Venetian Club of Hamilton. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 5-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church, Nash Road and Barton Street, Hamilton on Saturday February 4, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Private Family Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Giuseppe to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Hamilton Health Sciences would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
