Obituary for Willie Brown

BROWN, William John “Willie”
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of William John Brown at Hamilton General Hospital on January 27, 2017 at the age of 58. He will be profoundly missed by his girlfriend Mary Tomkiw-Rivet. He is the beloved son of William Truscott Brown (Cynthia Marshall) and the late Michaela Thompson (David Thompson). Adored big brother of Michaela McLeod (nee Brown). Kick-ass uncle of Duncan, Hayden, Bracken and Kynan. Also survived by his step-siblings and their families. Willie left an indelible mark on the lives that he touched. His loss will be felt deeply by a large network of loving friends that he believed were family, too. As per Willie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Willie’s life will be held at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 3-5p.m. with tributes at 4p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Willie are asked to please consider a charity of their own choice.
