Francois "Frank"  Nafekh
NAFEKH, Francois 'Frank'

Peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 14, 2017 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Mireille nee (Mobarak) for over 54 years. Loving father of Paul and his wife Tracey, Andrew and his wife Sonia, Philip and his wife Jasmine, Mark and his wife Kelley, and Natalie and her husband Pino Deluca. Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Christian, Alice, Martin, Amy, Richard, Jordan, Dani, Spencer, Charlie, Mireille, Lee and Sam. Much loved brother of Yvette Bakhash. Predeceased by his siblings, Nelly Cummins, Cecile Giangi, Tony Nafekh, Fouad Nafekh, and Fayez Nafekh. Special thanks to the health care providers that took care of Frank throughout his journey, especially the Doctor's, nurses and staff at Juravinski Hospital, and his home heath care team for their exceptional care and compassion. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby, on Thursday January 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. Friends are welcome to join the family for a reception at the church, immediately following the mass. A private family interment to take place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
