Clarence has gone to be with the Lord. He passed peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the age of 83. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joyce (nee Luijk). Dear father of Mary (Tony) Mendolia, Rick (Mary), Iris (George) Hoytema, and Bruce (Heather). Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Jake), Cam, Dylan (Jade), Tim (Jenna), Jessie (Matt), Kevin (Katie), Michelle (Clayton), Brandyn (Amanda), Olivia, and Emily. Adored great-grandfather of Connor, Taylor, and Isla. Clarence will be dearly missed by extended family and friends. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Christian Reformed Church, 2265 Mountainside Drive, Burlington on Saturday, January 14 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations to Shalom Manor would be greatly appreciated.
