PLUMBLEY, Gerald Warren “Jerry”
1931-2017

Passed away peacefully after a short stay at The Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, on Friday January 6, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Betty for over 60 years (September 2016). Loving father of Jay and his wife Maureen of Burlington, and Gail Konior and her husband Ted of Stoney Creek. Remembered and loved by all of his grandchildren; Jason, Jeffrey, Teddy (April), Scott (Racheal), Katie and Jodie, and three great-grandchildren; Madison, Mackenzie and DJ. Dear brother of Edna-Joyce Cunningham and cherished brother-in-law of Peggy (Jim), Marie (Neil), Joy and Mike (Mary). He will be truly missed by all. Jerry was very proud of his service with the American Air Force and was very active with the local American Legion. Jerry retired in 1991 from Dofasco after 32 years of service. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 10:30am with a reception to follow at the funeral home. For those who wish, donations in Jerry’s memory to The Carpenter Hospice or The Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated.
