Condolence From: Greg and Annette Kratzer
Condolence: Greg and I are devastated to hear the news of Patty's passing. We enjoyed the times we shared at Taggart Bay -- visiting, fishing and the stories and the lodge picnics. We recently displayed Patty's prints of the loons and the snowy owl on our living room wall. Our guests are in awe of the detail and Patty's talent. We will remember her for her playfulness and ability to laugh at herself.

Condolence: I was saddened to hear of Patty's recent death when the National Presbyterian Museum's Advisory Committee met yesterday and we were all informed.
Patty created a mural for the entrance lobby (stairwell) of the Museum when it opened 15 years ago; portraying a Church building in New Brunswick (that I was able to pose in front of last Spring) and a scene of India (not yet). It was great to FINALLY meet her at Knox Church during Doors Open Burlington in September 2014, as she was sharing her art in the transept, and I came with our Museum's travelling display
My apologies for not being present at the visitation or funeral, but send greetings to the family on behalf of the Museum.

Condolence: Dear Roy and Kim, I was saddened to read of Patti's passing. We have all lost a very bright light in this world. Patti alays had a lovely smile and laugh. My memories of Patti and your family go back to when we first met in the 80's on Woodland Avenue. We had moved away by then but still visited there. In 1986, my late husband, Erik, had commisioned Patti to paint 2 large watercolours of peacocks to hang above our new peacock sofa. I still have the lovely sofa in my home and the paintings hang proudly above it. We have two more works of Patti's, Down Home Village and Trilliums. You will miss your Patti always, and I hope friends are there to wrap their arms around all of you.

Condolence: Please know that we are praying for the entire Kirby family during this very difficult time.

Mrs. Kirby you were an inspiration to our daughter Ana. Ana loved attending art classes every Tuesday. Ana accomplished so much under Patty's direction.

Sorry we were unable to attend the visitation or service but please know the entire Kirby family will be in our thoughts and prayers - May God's light shine down upon you and provide you strength during this time.

Mrs. Kirby - you are gone but will never be forgotten - thank you for touching Ana's life!

Condolence: Roy and Kim and family: Diane and I are so saddened to hear of Patty's passing. She was an original. Her passion for life and the people she knew and met was inspiring to us all. Her students were fortunate to have her as their teacher and she always brought a special light to the room whenever we were around her. We shall miss her and pray you can take some comfort in knowing that she shines even brighter now as there is now a new star in heaven.
