Obituary for Fioravante D'Alimonte

Died peacefully at Juravinski Hospital, on Friday, December 30, 2016, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Rosalia (nee Parete). Loved father of Elia Buchanan (Douglas), Anna D'Angelo (Donato) and Elda Laing (Kenneth). Cherished grandfather of Pamela (Geoff), Amanda, Daniel (Meagan), Kimberly (Brad), Sarah, Anthony, Justin, Ryan and Emily and great-grandfather of Abigail and Hannah. Predeceased by his siblings Graziella and Antonio D'Alimonte. Brother-in-law of Antonio Parete (Concetta), Benito Parete (Assunta), Luisa DiCarlo (Giuseppe), Santino Parete (Pasqua), Cesidio Parete (Rosalia), the late Maria Parete (late Giuseppe) and the late Vittorio Parete (Graziella). Fioravante will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff and nurses at Juravinski Hospital, especially on 2E, for all of your care. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil Monday at 8:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at 10 a.m. Entombment at Beechwood Cemetery, Vaughan. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
