Obituary for Felicia Varani

VARANI, Felicia

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, it is with the heaviest of hearts and profound
sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and nonna, Felicia Varani
(Mancini) on Monday, October 24th, 2016 in her 74th year. She was the cherished wife of Mario
for 48 years and the proud mother to her two daughters, Anastasia (Paul) Viola and Sandra
(Crispen) Richards. She was the loving nonna to Alexander, Christina, Sophia, Luca, and Gabriel.
She was predeceased by her parents, Guglielmo and Adele Mancini and her in-laws, Nicola and
Madalena Varani. She was the dearest sister of Maria (Geremia) DiMartino, Antonia
(Palmarino) Serrani, Domenico (Julia) Mancini, Italia (Antonio) Toscani, and the late Arcangelo
(Agnese) Mancini and Palmina (Pasquale) Perpetuini. She was the dear sister-in-law of
Berardino (Lina) Varani, Pasquale (Rina) Varani, Aldovino Varani, and the late Donato (Grazia)
and Francesca Varani. She will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and close friends
both in Canada and Italy. Her warm smile will likewise be missed by her friends at Orchard
Terrace. Felicia was especially proud of her family gatherings. Her passion for cooking and
baking fulfilled Felicia’s life. She was most happy when surrounded by family and friends. Her
laughter will be forever remembered.
