The pain our family feels today,
Our tears that won’t subside
For God now has our loving mom
To be right by his side.
The memories come flooding back
Some new ones & some old
Remembering our beautiful mom
And her heart of gold.
Her grandkids and the trailer
Gave her so much happiness
Thinking about the good times
That we all will truly miss.
The times we laughed, the times we cried
The times we all were sad
Mom was always there for us
Along with our dear Dad
So here we are together today
Remembering her with love
For our dear mom has been called away
To her new home up above.
We’ll share some stories, we’ll laugh, we’ll cry
We’ll shake our heads & wonder why?
We’ll hug each other & let out a sigh
Because it’s so hard to say goodbye
So the pain our family feels today
The tears that won’t subside
Will somehow give us comfort
Now that God is by her side.
