Passed away peacefully at home in Burlington, on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late Jim (April 29, 2016). Cherished sister of Rich Zawadzki and his wife Donna. Special aunt of Nikki (Randy), Leanne (Matt) and Kimberley. Predeceased by her parents Jan and Irene Zawadzki, her sister Teresa and her niece Tiffany. Hedy will be remembered for her devotion to her 3 beloved cats and her support of related local charities. Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations in memory of Hedy to the Burlington Humane Society, Ducks Unlimited, the MS Society, PETA or the Mission Services of Hamilton would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
