YAREMKO, Frederick-
We are deeply saddened to announce that after a brief illness, the passing of Frederick Yaremko at The Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Thursday, September 5, 2013, in his 88th year. Devoted husband of the late Joyce (nee Scherb) for 54 years. Loving father to Katherine Curnock and Michael. Proud grandfather of Brandon. Also lovingly remembered by dear friend John Pettitt who has been a great support to our family. Fred is also survived by sisters, Lucy Migus, Jeanette Cooke, Rosalie Yaremko and brother, Robert Yaremko and by many nieces and nephews. A long time employee of American Can Company, Fred enjoyed his retirement with Joyce travelling, gardening and being with his family. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 3-5 p.m. Private Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
