Jean went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 12, 2012. As cherished wife of HAP (1921-1978), Jean lived an exciting life that took her from Glasgow to Toronto, and abroad through Colombia, Peru, & Aruba. After 10 years abroad, the Lord blessed HAP and Jean with two daughters. Jean was the precious mother of Leslie and Jeri, loved mother-in-law of Joel Kissack, loved grandma of Jessica and Tyler, and Aunt to Elsie, Annette, Phyllis, Rick, Debbie, and David. Jean was predeceased by her parents, William and Mary Miller of Glasgow, Scotland, as well as her brothers William and Richard, and her sister Mae Gibbs. The family extends its deepest appreciation to all of the compassionate staff at Allendale LTCH Milton, especially Allen and Halton Houses, Dr. Hunter, Dr. Arumugam and Dr. Wong. As expressions of sympathy, Jean’s family would ask for donations to be made in her memory to “Be Strong II” building campaign of Harvest Bible Chapel Oakville.
